The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), has become the largest show for all the technological innovations in consumer electronics.

LIDAR for automotive has introduced new requirements in terms of NIR light source characterization. In every situation, precise characterization and fast measurements of light source emission properties in all its angular aperture is mandatory to get accurate 3D images.

 

In addition, all NIR sources must comply safety regulations and must be verified during the fabrication process. Thanks to our equipment it is possible, and it is also perfectly suited for production line.

Recap : Vehicle Displays Detroit 2019

 

We thank all visitors of our booth and hope you enjoyed the product demonstration of our VCProbe-VIS.

 

 

 

 

Nowadays displays in the automotive industry is becoming more and more important.

 

Indeed, with new technologies and improvements in self-driving car, displays in the car are winning territory.

 

In recent cars, displays are in your dashboard, on the central console with embedded multimedia system and all the external screen like navigation system, phone, tablet and screens for the passengers. Autonomous vehicles will allow to have even more screens like head-up display or screen integrated on your windshield.

 

With so many screens in a car, the question of testing them to ensure quality control is important.

Automotive LIDAR starts today !

 

We are pleased to welcome you at our Table#16, our team is here to present you the VCProbe-NIR-DSD with live demonstration and real time measurement !

 

 

LIDAR technology in the Automotive industry became a key component for the self driving car application. In order to check the safety and have a quality control on these components it is important to have a device capable to check these elements.

 

Our equipment the VCProbe-NIR-DSD is specially designed to precisely measure small aperture of NIR sources. This system can measure all kinds of sources such as LIDAR, Flash LIDAR, Laser Diode and VCSEL widely used for driverless cars.

 

The equipment allows a fast, angle dependent characterization of NIR emitters. The precise characterization of NIR sources such as surface emitters is used in the LIDAR range for sensor analyses on driverless cars or remote sensing.

ELDIM’s exhibiting at Vehicle Displays 2019 I Detroit, USA I 24-25 Sept

This year ELDIM will be exhibiting at the Vehicle Displays show !

 

Since some years now the Vehicle Displays show have increased its number of exhibitors. There are now more than 100 tables. Many people from the display industry is coming to this event, to participate in the exhibition and go to the conference.

 

During the exhibition we will showcase our viewing angle equipment for the visible range measurement, the VCProbe-VIS.

Display Week 2019 I Recap on the exhibition

We would like to thank you all, once again for visiting us during the Display Week 2019.

 

We were happy to meet you and present you our new products: the new model of EZLite-N has been featured. Also exposed the VCProbe series for Visible Range VIS and for Near InfraRed (NIR) with live demonstration on our booth.

On his article Tom FISKE points out that this year once again, we have welcome on our booth the french star-up United Visual Researchers UVR.

 

UVR create a software capable of physical realistic simulation based on accurate multispectral data, from measurements done by ELDIM’s equipment.

 

ELDIM is proud to have been able to give once again the opportunity to UVR to have an international presence.

Discover ELDIM’S new equipment for NIR sources characterization at Photonics West 2019

SAVE THE DATE: 5-7 February 2019

 

This year ELDIM will exhibit at Photonics West, we propose you two new systems in NIR characterization sources for quality control of LIDAR, VCSELs and other sources.

 

These two new products are ideal for 3D sensing technologies. It is used for application on self driving cars as well as for facial recognition for example.
